George W. Harper?

I'd like to give hat tips to all the Bloggers out there writing about this U.S. link to the Harper campaign.

As most of you know by now, the Conservatives have been getting support and endorsements from a number of George W. Bush linked groups such as the NRA, anti-Same Sex Marriage groups, Former executive director of the Christian Coalition Ralph Reed, and the Washington Times.

I'd like to announce I'm starting a new section on Liberal For Life for the duration of the election campaign called Standing on Guard for Thee in which I will post links to any story or blog post I can find on this subject so that others may find them easily.

As others have said, this is not about a smear campaign, this is about accountability. Stephen Harper needs to be asked about this, whether he accepts their support or rejects it. It is a fair question.

I have wrote a piece awhile ago about this. The question that needs to be asked is this: why do these Republican supporters care what happens in Canada. I think O'Reilly gave us a partial answer.

Bill O’Reilly has said “The Canadian model is what progressive Americans are shooting for.” http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,140742,00.html

The rest can be read here.

I think it bugs the shit out of them to see a productive, peaceful society, whose economy has lately been doing better than theirs, whose poverty rate is WAY below theirs, not to mention gun violence, health care, etc etc... such a society run by godless heathens who embrace all sorts of debauchery.

We should send reps from the marijuana party to their elections, see how they like it...

You know how most times when someone says "LOL" they don't really laugh out loud in real life? Well on that Marijuana Party line, I really did Laugh Out Loud.

I hope the Liberals expose all the connections between George W. Bush and Stephen Harper. Those from the right in the United States must really want Harper to lose or else they wouldn't be endorsing him. After all, their endorsements will only ensure he remains in opposition. All I can say to the American Right, keep up your endorsements. The more it will do to ensure the Conservatives stay in opposition.

I doubt they (the American right-wingnuts) see it that way. They are, after all, RIGHT.
Heh.
